This Website Privacy Notice explains how Agentic Intelligence Limited (“TrafficSense”, “we”, “us”, “our”) handles information about visitors to our websites at trafficsense.ai, trafficsense.co.nz, and trafficsense.com.au (together, the “Website”).
This notice applies only to your interactions with the Website — for example, browsing pages, submitting the early-access notification form, or emailing us using a contact address shown on the Website. It does not cover use of the TrafficSense product (the “Service”). If you become an authorised user of the Service, our separate product Privacy Policy will apply, and your employer or principal (the “Customer”) controls the personal information processed through the Service.
TrafficSense is a New Zealand business and our primary markets are New Zealand and Australia. The Website is available globally; if you visit from another country, this notice describes how we handle your information. Visitors located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland are not included in our advertising and remarketing technologies (see section 2.3 below).
1. Compliance with local laws
We handle personal information in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which you are located:
- New Zealand visitors: Privacy Act 2020.
- Australian visitors: Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
When you interact with the Website, you may choose to give us personal information. This only happens when you:
- Submit your email address using the early-access notification form.
- Email us directly using a contact address shown on the Website.
The information you provide may include your email address, name, organisation, role, and any details you include in the body of your message. We do not run other forms, signups, or data-entry workflows on the Website.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit the Website, we and our service providers automatically collect technical information about your visit. This may include:
- IP address and approximate location derived from it.
- Browser type and version, operating system, and device type.
- Pages visited, links clicked, time spent on pages, and referring website.
- Date and time of access.
2.3 Cookies and similar technologies
The Website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure, improve, and promote the Website. Cookies fall into the following categories:
- Essential cookies: Required for the Website to function (for example, content delivery and basic security).
- Analytics cookies: Help us understand how visitors use the Website so that we can improve content and performance. We use Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager for this purpose.
- Advertising and remarketing cookies: We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure the performance of LinkedIn advertising campaigns, understand visitor demographics in aggregate, and show relevant TrafficSense advertisements to people who have visited the Website when they use LinkedIn. The LinkedIn Insight Tag collects information such as a hashed LinkedIn member ID, cookie identifiers, IP address, and browser and device information, and shares it with LinkedIn Corporation. The LinkedIn Insight Tag is not loaded for visitors located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. You can manage how LinkedIn uses your data at linkedin.com/psettings and opt out of LinkedIn advertising at linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.
We do not use cookies or similar technologies to send you product information, updates, or marketing communications by email without a separate signup.
Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect how the Website functions.
3. How we use information
We use the personal information described above to:
- Respond to your enquiry.
- Send you product updates, early-access news, launch announcements, and other communications related to TrafficSense, where you have signed up to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any such message or by emailing us.
- Operate, secure, and improve the Website, including troubleshooting and analytics.
- Measure the performance of advertising campaigns, understand visitor demographics in aggregate, and show TrafficSense advertisements to people who have visited the Website when they use LinkedIn (subject to the geographic limits in section 2.3).
- Comply with applicable law and respond to legitimate legal requests.
We rely on the following lawful bases under New Zealand and Australian privacy law: your consent (for submitting personal information through forms, for receiving marketing communications, and for non-essential cookies), legitimate interests (for operating and securing the Website and responding to your enquiry), and compliance with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We share personal information only as necessary to operate the Website or as required by law:
- Service providers: Trusted third parties who help us run the Website, including hosting, analytics, form submission processing, and email delivery. These providers are permitted to use personal information only to provide services to TrafficSense.
- Advertising platforms: Where you visit the Website outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, information described in section 2.3 is shared with LinkedIn Corporation for advertising measurement and remarketing. LinkedIn acts as an independent controller of this data under its own privacy policy.
- Legal authorities: Where required to comply with applicable law or a binding legal request.
- Business successors: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred to the new owner under confidentiality terms and consistent with this notice.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Where we process information
Personal information collected through the Website is processed by service providers that may be hosted in New Zealand, Australia, the United States, or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. In particular, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag involve processing in the United States. Where information is transferred outside New Zealand or Australia, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a comparable level of protection.
6. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this notice:
- Early-access signups and email enquiries: Retained while we are in active conversation with you and for a reasonable period afterwards (typically up to 24 months) for follow-up and record-keeping.
- Server logs and Website analytics: Retained for a short period for security and operational purposes.
After the retention period, personal information is deleted, anonymised, or aggregated, unless retention is required by law.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you have the following rights with respect to the personal information TrafficSense holds about you as a Website visitor:
